Ocean Casino Resort and PlayStar Casino Sign Multi-Year Deal

Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City has signed a new contract deal with PlayStar Casino. The deal is a multi-year agreement that will see the online casino brand offering gaming services in the state of New Jersey. The company has plans to launch later on this year and will help to expand the overall online operations of Ocean Casino. PlayStar will need approval from the Division of Gaming Enforcement before it can move on to offering services.

What to Expect

The online offering of PlayStar will offer something completely different in New Jersey. The operator provides an immersive experience where players can expect a unique gaming environment every time, they visit the site.

PlayStar focuses on personalization for the player as well as engagement, and quality customer support. With the options provided by the operator, players feel like they are the star of the site, which adds to the overall experience.

Co-Founder and Executive Vice President Adam Noble commented on the new partnership, stating PlayStar is delighted to be entering the New Jersey market via Ocean Casino Resort. The company shaped its proposition with extensive research in the market as well as an analysis of customer behaviors. The launch in the Garden State will be the first step for the casino in its effort to become a favorite among US players.

PlayStar Casino Chairman and Group Founder, Joel Wikell, commented as well, stating that for him, it is exciting to be back with advanced technology. He founded Boss Media in the mid-1990s and was part of bringing many of the early casinos to life. This partnership with Ocean Casino allows him to do that one again in a new environment.

Continuing to Expand

Ocean Casino has come a long way since launching in June 2018. In the first year, the company struggled quite a bit until it was brought under new leadership. Changes were made and the casino started to see a turnaround.

For the past year, the online gambling services of the provider have grown considerably. The operator has hit new highs, and with PlayStar coming on board, the iGaming sector of the provider will only continue to expand.

The news of the online casino partnership comes just a short time after Ocean Casino announced a new physical amenity. The casino opened The Cove not long ago, offering slot fans a high limit gaming area on-site.

The high-limit room is quite large with over 140 slots in play. There are classic games as well as new titles, so players have a well-rounded selection. Some examples of games in the space include Jeopardy, Dragon Cash, and Wheel of Fortune.

The high rollers area provides an exclusive feel, with a dedicated cocktail service for everyone inside. The service also has an enhanced beverage selection along with the cashier cage and restrooms.

The casino is certainly working hard to stay competitive, especially in an already large market. It will be interesting to see how the changes come into play with the new online casino launch and how it affects the bottom line of the land-based operator. Will it put them higher on the revenue leader board in New Jersey?
