Kindred Group Goes Live in New Jersey Via Hard Rock Partnership

In New Jersey, online gambling is big business. There are many online casino and poker sites in operation along with online sportsbooks. Despite worry that the market will become oversaturated due to too many operators, new sites are launching pretty regularly. The market seems to be growing at a rapid rate with no signs of slowing down. This week, the Kindred Group has announced they are live now in the state, having launched their flagship brand via a partnership with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

New Online Gaming

The Kindred Group’s flagship brand is Unibet, a well-known brand to international gamblers. The company signed a partnership agreement with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino of Atlantic City last summer and have been looking forward to launching ever since. The company was able to obtain a Casino Service Industry Enterprise License, one that is given by the Division of Gaming Enforcement.

With the license, the company can offer online casino games to players located in the state of New Jersey. And as mentioned, online gaming is big business in the state. Recent figures show that the state has seen an over 52% increase in revenue growth during January to April of 2019. A total of $141.1 million was earned.

The Kindred Group is ready to get started with services. In a recent press release, the company stated they are thrilled to now be offering customers in New Jersey a ‘truly great gambling experience on a top technology platform in a sustainable safe and secure environment’.

The Kindred Group is excited to be in New Jersey but also looking to expand further within the United States. They are hoping to gain entry into the new sports betting market of the US as well. Last year, the company partnered with Kambi, a top-rated sports betting products provider. They hope to start with online sports betting operations soon.

Unibet Changes Logo

As they begin to offer services in the United States for the very first time, the company decided to change the logo of the brand. The goal was to create a logo that will cater better to the mobile-first environment of today. The logo was redesigned via an in-house creative design team, a group that had quite the challenge of modernizing the classic look of the logo while remaining true to the heritage of the company.

While the logo was designed based on the US launch, it will be used globally by the company.

Looking Ahead

After the launch in New Jersey, the Kindred Group is looking ahead to Pennsylvania. The company has signed a strategic partnership with the Mohegan Sun Pocono, a gaming operator in the state. The partnership between the two is a five year deal with gaming set to begin shortly.

The state of Pennsylvania approved online gaming back in 2017 and spent the entire year of 2018 creating rules and regulations as well as allowing casinos time to strike partnership deals. The Kindred Group hopes to continue building their business in the US, moving on to other states in the future.

For now, it will certainly be interesting to watch as the site gets off the ground in New Jersey. Will players flock to the new brand for their iGaming? Is there enough room in the state for more operators? Only time will tell!
