Gamblers who frequent casinos in areas like Atlantic City have their preferred spots for playing. Some like to head to the Borgata while others prefer the Hard Rock. At the Ocean Casino Resort, a new high-limit play area has opened up, providing players with a unique way to enjoy personalized gameplay. The Loft debuted this week at the casino, providing amazing views and plenty of private gaming space.
The Loft
High rollers have been waiting for quite some time to see The Loft open its doors. The space is 2,000 square feet in size and is featured 44-stories above the ground. Players who make the journey up to the private gaming area will have access to amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean, courtesy of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Ocean Casino Resort Chief Executive Officer for Ocean Casino, Terry Glebocki, stated that the casino’s ability to devote hotel space to gaming raises the bar for high-limit action in Atlantic City. The Loft is a premier option for players that are looking for an exclusive experience.
The location of the high-limit area is secluded, so guests will be able to enjoy a quality experience when playing favorite games. Guests have access to private butler service for any needs while playing along with a personal security detail.
Tailored bar service is also offered with top-shelf options. Players can easily enjoy a drink and the views while playing table games including baccarat, roulette, and blackjack. To ensure the safety and health of guests, the casino has instituted COVID-19 protocols in the space. Deep cleaning takes place after each use.
Joining The Cove
The Loft is exclusive to table game players while The Cove is the slot space for high-limit gamblers. The Cove opened with its high-limit slot gaming back in January. The space is located near Wahlburgers and features 7,450 square feet of space.
The area has over 140 slot games, with classics as well as new titles included. Titles are provided by Ainsworth, Scientific Games, IGT, Everi, and more top-rated software companies. Such games found in the high-limit area include Lightning Cash, Dragon Cash, and Wheel of Fortune.
Players who visit the space have access to dedicated cocktail services as well as enhanced beverages. There are also private restrooms and an exclusive cage where players can cash out any big wins!
Huge Growth from the Beginning Struggle
The two new high-limit rooms are just a small example as to how the Ocean Casino has grown since its inception in 2018. The casino was in trouble from the very beginning, after opening in the former Revel Casino space.
The casino lost over $23 million in its first year and had issues with compliance regulations. After an ownership change, with Luxor Capital Group taking over, the casino began to see a turnaround. The property has seen a huge change since 2019, with an almost 50% increase in revenues from the very start.
The momentum of the venue was only slowed down after the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020. However, the operator was still able to see an increase in year-over-year revenues, even though the casino was closed for four months of the year.
