Online gaming is a popular activity in the state of New Jersey. Within the state’s borders, there are multiple online casinos to choose from as well as online sports betting sites and poker rooms. Players can easily find a plethora of content from a variety of providers, including various operators and software contributors. Just recently, it was announced that DraftKings online casino was about to expand, as the site will now be partnered with NetEnt.
New Partnership Formed
NetEnt and DraftKings have formed a new partnership that will benefit both entities. NetEnt will be able to expand their presence in the state while DraftKings will have the ability to offer even more content to players. The online casino supply agreement will see NetEnt offering their best online casino games to the site operated by DraftKings.
New Jersey is one of the few areas in which online gambling is legalized in the United States. For DraftKings, the brand has been able to expand from offering only daily fantasy sports services to sports betting and then online casino games. Despite the current online casino offering being somewhat small, the brand has been successful in their efforts to offer even more in the state.
The rollout of the NetEnt content should begin in the next few weeks. As players log in to the online casino site of DraftKings, they will have access to the quality titles that players from around the world have come to love.
NetEnt just recently secured licensing to operate in New Jersey. The Division of Gaming Enforcement has approved the company for permanent licensing in the state. NetEnt Americas LLC Managing Director Erik Nyman commented on the new deal with DraftKings by stating that company is very excited to work with DraftKings, a company they feel as established themselves as a world leader in fantasy sports.
With DraftKings large player base, the company will be able to add a new dimension to the market and NetEnt is confident that players will enjoy their games.
Entry Into The Regulated US Market
NetEnt has waited a long time to be able to operate in the United States. They applied for licensing back in 2015 and were given a transactional waiver. The waiver allowed the company to go live before being issued a permanent license. Now that the license has been established, the company can offer full services without any issue.
NetEnt is also focused on expanding to other states. The company was approved for licensing in Pennsylvania by the state’s Gaming Control Board. The license will allow NetEnt to offer their products to online gambling operators that are licensed within the state.
Online gambling is set to start in Pennsylvania by July of this year, if all goes according to plan. Regulators announced a few weeks ago that they had alerted license holders that online needs to be ready by the week of July 15th, so that there can be a coordinated launch of services.
It remains to be seen which operators will be ready by that time and who will be offering online gaming first in the state.
